MADE TO ORDER
Our pieces are made to order. Buying 'stocked' items means the items are made in bulk, which may come with an element of carelessness and may be made in a slightly lackadaisical approach. Our made to order earrings are given the attention and mindfulness each piece deserves, so you can be sure they are created with love and care.

 

MATERIALS
We endeavour to ensure the items we create with are high quality and ethically sourced materials. We source local supplies where possible to minimise environmental impact and foster community pride. We source high quality natural freshwater pearls with a raw organic finish. Their shape is unique and imperfections are common (the beauty of a pearl). They are natural (white) in colour and have a beautiful silky lustre. We craft using sterling silver .925 and 14k gold-filled wire (yellow and rose). Distinguished from gold plated, gold-filled wire lasts longer and will stand up to wear and tear.

PACKAGING/GIFT WRAPPING
Our pieces come beautifully wrapped and ready to gift, or enjoy yourself! Our pearls are wrapped in soft tissue paper, placed in a branded linen pouch and encased in a recycled kraft gift box and twine. You're welcome to write a short message for a gift note too. For added protection, the gift box is then cushioned inside a padded envelope before being shipped to you.

SHIPPING

Please allow one week for smaller orders to be shipped and one to two weeks for larger orders. Shipping estimates are detailed under each item. If you have an urgent order please send your request via the Contact page and we will work with you to make it happen.

 

RETURNS/EXCHANGES
We're confident you'll be happy with your pearls, but if for any reason you are not, please get in touch and we will work with you to to resolve this. Unfortunately due to hygiene reasons we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on earrings as we can't be sure they haven't been worn. Although we do our best to safely package your pearls, we acknowledge that this may include defects, repairs, an exchange of items or a refund of purchase price if warranted. Be sure to hold onto the original packaging to help prevent damage on return.

WHAT IS GOLD-FILLED WIRE?
14k gold-filled wire is a durable metal that lasts far longer than gold plated and is an economical alternative to solid gold wire. This metal is hypoallergenic and will not tarnish, flake off, rub off or turn colour, like gold plating. Gold-filled wire is composed of a solid layer of gold mechanically bonded to a base of either sterling silver or another base metal.
